The More Things Change.....

I am something of the family historian for my clan. My Great Uncle recently sent me a stack of really old newspapers from the turn of the century and as I was perusing them I came across this add, and I just smiled. How many adds like this do we see in almost every popular magazine. This add was from the December 1904 edition of "The Modern Woodman", it almost reads like a modern add, it makes almost all the same promises we see today, except it's a bit more direct. If I had known that weightloss was this simple I would have been skinnier years ago.

Anyway I thought all three of my readers might find it humorous.
