Well tonight I saw Rush for the 6th time, and they just keep getting better. Columbus was the fourth stop on their 30th anniversary tour. Rush played for almost 3 1/2 hours tonight, all by themselves with no opening act. They were incredible. Rush puts on the best live show of any band I have ever seen. Musically they were tight, and yet they seemed to have fun and enjoy playing the show almost as much as I enjoyed watching it. Neil Peart's drum solo when on for almost 10 minutes..... absolutly incredible.
Ok the coolest part.... I actually prayed that the rain would hold off until after the show.....and it happened. we got some sprinkles on the way to the car and driving back it looked like it rained just about everywhere else..... how cool is that.
Anyway before anyone goes out spouting off about who's the best band.... check out a Rush live show .... you might just change your mind.
