Cause like I really need more hollywood types and rock stars telling me I should be outraged.
If you depend on a rock star to jumpstart your concience...... you should just give up now.
Hey I have an idea how about we get all the hollywood types and rock stars to take some of the money they spend on mansions, sports cars, parties and crack and pay off some third world debt.
... and I don't mean having some sort of celebrity fund raiser that cost millions of dollars to cater, just so they can be seen pretending to actually care, I mean just shut up and write a damn check.
Not that it matters but does anyone care about the people who work for the banks who are going to take the hit for writing off all these loans.

Another reason to support MG.
I like it actually. All of those stars could divest themselves of all their cash and it would help the africa situation for a couple of days if that-- or they could raise awareness and allow others to share in there awakening.
Ideas can be very powerful things.

i have to agree with jeff too...although i understand what you are saying. i look at someone like saint bono (and yes, the saint is definitely deserved) who has spent every free moment over the last 6-7 years on this. this is a huge week in which history could potentially be changed with the G8 conference taking place in scotland. if it takes some selfish rockstars to wake up the rest of the world, then so be it.
i'm all for things that don't make sense if we can change the world with it. and i'm extremely hopeful that this time around the world is awake enough to make the difference. please Lord let this be one for the history books....
