Thoughts .... and a Nashville Update

I'm a cynic..... there I said it. Ah but it is worse than that, I am a judgmental cynic.... and worse yet I am a judgmental cynic with a big mouth. During Dave and Kara's wedding Jeff was talking about Dave, and mentioned that he had never heard Dave say a negative word either about or to anyone( I am not sure exactly how he said it but that's the gist ), anyway the thought went through my mind that could not be said about me.... and I realized that I didn't like that about myself very much, I realized just how overly critical I am of people. This is not loving people like Jesus loved. I need to change this about myself..... or more to the point ask God to help me change about myself.

Well today has been a fun day here in Nashville. Today we ate and shopped. We had lunch at a Nashville landmark: The Loveless Cafe, which has apparently been around since the 20's and just about every country music star you can imagine has eaten there. We has breakfast for lunch: I had scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy and country ham. This food is to die for, and of course is probably heart failure on a plate

After that we went to the Oprymills Mall and the Opryland Hotel.

At the mall we went to the Gibson Bluegrass Showcase, it is basically a gibson guitar store with a factory inside were you can watch as Gibson mandolins and banjos are being made. It was pretty cool. I found a really nice Gibson jumbo that I liked( I won't tell you how much it cost).

After that we went over to the Opryland Hotel for a drink before going out to dinner. This place was amazing probably the largest hotel I have ever seen. Inside there are 4 huge atriums full of exotic plants and trees.... Absolutely amazing,

Anyway having a great time here, looking forward to coming home, I have so much to do when I get back I don't want to think about it.
