This has been a wonderful day. So much to be Thankful for....
This morning started out slow and easy. We eventually managed to make it back out to The Loveless Cafe for breakfast, had eggs, sausage-gravy and biscuit, and a slab of country ham. Also it turns out that when we arrived the has just finished making a batch of peach preserves to go with our biscuits and they were still hot.... mmmmmmmmmm. I love breakfast in the South.
After breakfast we went out to see The Hermitage, the home of Andrew Jackson.... very interesting place for those of us into the history thing. After that I had Jamaican Jerk Chicken for lunch( I need to find a good place to get this in Columbus)
After lunch we stopped at Tower Records and I picked up the new Rush CD: Feedback ... very cool. We then drove around the city for awhile site seeing.
Tonight we went to dinner at B.B. Kings. I had met a gentleman at lunch on Sunday that said the music there was great and the ribs were so good: "you'd want to slap somebody"(that's a direct quote, and Otis my good man you were absolutely correct, The music was hot (there is something very righteous about being in a city stuffed full of professional musicians) the ribs were...... They were..... I can't even describe to you how good the ribs were. Oh and the best part.... When you went to the restroom they had an attendant who when you went to wash your hands would spray the soap into your hands, clean you up with a lint brush, hand you a towel and see to any other freshness needs you might require before leaving the restroom... It was all incredibly civilized, almost made me want to drink more just so I could go to the restroom ...
Anyway.... This had been a very nice trip ...... I have been very impressed with Nashville, and we have had very wonderful gracious hosts.... Well tomorrow it's eight hours in the car and home just in time for homegroup. I hope I still have enough energy left to help lead worship ..... Well we shall see

Wow. That sounds great.
Damn, Kori and I need a vacation.
Isn't it fair to say that not only do you love breakfast in the South, but the North, East, and West as well?!?!?!?
Dude, sounds like an awesome time, you are making me want to go to BB's, do me a favor though, slap someone at homegroup, so I don't have to be the recipient or that one. However it sounds like it was so good that more than one will get slapped!!!!!
Kristi and I may have to make the trip down.
Sounds fun.
it tis true that I do love breakfast just about everywhere, they just do it very very well in the South .
