The Pictures

I honestly don't know what sickens me more. The pictures from Iraq, or the vultures who are jumping on those pictures in a feeding frenzy saying "I told you so...see what an awful country we live in","see how evil Bush is". This is the same as taking pictures of caskets of dead soldiers and using them as propaganda. I would condemn that activitiy no matter which side did it.

I have to admit I am not really a big fan of Bush, honestly I voted for him as the least of two evils. I am not one hundred percent sure I want to vote for him again, but laying the actions of these soldiers in Irag at his feet is misguided. Personally the idea of using this incident to make political hay is nauseating.

Question..and answer honestly... Were you this upset when Bill Clinton ordered cruise missle strikes (against non-military targets..that killed civilians) in order to draw attention away from his sex scandal?

Maybe you should spend as much time praying for our leadership as you do trying to tear it down.

as far as protesting this war...the time for that is past....we are there.....we have started a job, and we are stuck there. If we don't finish the job this time around we will have really done a disservice to the Iraqi people. Like it or not we are stuck this time.

I have another question. If this country is destroying itself, what are you doing to fix it?

Let's put things in perspective....700 people died in Iraq....how many people where killed by abortions yesterday? How many people died alone on the street from violence, drug abuse, exsposure? How many Christians got divorced this week? How many children in our own country are going to go to bed hungry tonight? How many of us were presented with an oppurtunity to express God's love to someone and we walked away from it? How come nobody is blogging about how awful these situations are? or what they are doing to fix it? (except John of course) How come we are not angry about these things?

If God is going to judge us, these are the things he is going to be really unhappy about.
