All right...tonight I saw the movie "Big Fish"......I was truely moved by this movie I was on the verge of tears as it ended. As we left the theater Erica asked if that qualified as a chick flick....I couldn't answer right away as I choked up and trying to walk through Easton with some degree of dignity. Once we got to the car I told her...."no that definitely wasn't a chick flick....it was a little boy flick". This movie really struck me(for reasons I cannot state here). I think it really speaks to the father son relationship. It sort of helps to see our fathers as the flawed humans they really are.....inspite of how we want to see and believe them to be.
