Lessons in Humility

Ok this morning could have been better. While I did wake up happy....drive into to school went well...then....
the parking lot at school was one big ice rink...three steps from the car...I became intimately aquainted with the rather cold ice covered parking lot. I believe the correct term here(and forgive the colloqualism) would be: "ass over applecart"
....as I lay there....resting on the very cold ground...it began to occur to me that I wasn't alone....I apparently had a very substantial audience....
Not exactally a shining moment....but in true red headed stepchild fashion....I stood up and graciously bowed to my clapping appreciative audience.
so much for approaching the day with any degree of dignity......
and more to the point....this was not the way I wanted to start my finals week.

The is good news however...I am reasonably certain that I did well on my literature final .......and best of all I know for sure that I aced my Humanities final...so far I am 2 for 2 .... with any luck I should make Dean's List this semester......"go me!"

but I know that without God none of this would even be possible......something to remember......lest my head should swell up to much
