The Life of Brian

I have wanted to use that title ever since I started writing in this format. Well my life has been very busy recently, bordering on the verge of chaos actually, but chaos in a good way.

The countdown clock says 49 days until I get married. As far as wedding planning goes, most of the heavy lifting is done. We are really just down to a lot of annoying little details. There just seems to be so much to do and so little time to do it. I still have some construction work to be done at my house, and we have already started to move some of my stuff into Erica’s. I am starting to get used to the idea of living in Clintonville. It is going to be a bit of a change I have essentially been living life as a suburbanite for so long I had grown comfortable living that way. Living in the city again is going to be big adjustment.

I feel like I am really moving into a community though. I am part of a growing vibrant community church (Central Vineyard) I have friends now who’s houses I can walk to, not to mention a market and some good restaurants with walking distance.

School is going well. I have somehow managed to stay on the Dean’s list for something like that the last five semesters or something like that. This isn’t to toot my own horn, if you had seen my grades before you’d be amazed to. I have decide that I should major in history, this is what I love to study and what I am best at, the problem is I have know idea what to do with a degree in history. I do want to go on and get a masters and PhD but that might not be possible right away, Erica and I are wanting to start a family in the next few years and I will need to have some sort of income. I really wish I had just settled down and gotten this stuff out of the way earlier in life.

Well I am off to try to do something constructive with my afternoon, thanks for your attention.
