what's up?

It occurs to me that I haven't written anything in a while. I can assure you that it is not because I haven't had anything to say, anyone who knows me can attest to that. Honestly it is because most of what has been bouncing around in my mind is of a very political nature and honestly I have been trying to get away from that stuff. so perhaps now I should just post some sort of life update, let's give that a try shall we?

What I'm Doing:

1) 77 days from now I get to marry the most wonderful woman I know.
2) I am back in school. current course list includes: Latin, Western History, History of Christianity in America, academic drawing.
3) I am currently the drummer for the worship band, and the powerpoint guru for the new Central Vineyard
4) I am not reading the bible as much as should.
5) I think I may have become addicted to watching "The West Wing"


What I'm thinking about:

1) In a nation such as ours nobody should have to go without healthcare, I am not how to fix this exactly.
2) Money should be taken out of politics, our government will never get anything done as long as they are continuing to pander to special interests on both sides of the aisle.
3) The only interest of the teachers union should be the working conditions of the teachers. If the union continues to be more interested in social/political issues than education then it needs to be broken up and replaced by a new union that actually does what it's supposed to.
4) I should be reading the bible. more.
