Well its Sunday night and I really should be writing one of the 3 papers that I have due tomorrow. Any services this weekend have been great. The worship has just been incredible. This week I had something that really resonated with me. Rich(our paster at the Columbus Vineyard) was talking about the someone being a reluctant leader. His point of referrence was Moses in the book of Exodus. God had informed Moses of his role leading the Jews out of Egypt. God calmed Moses' fears about the job by telling him: "I wil be with you'"(Ex 3.13). He went to quote Jesus after giving the great commision in the end of Mathew: "I will be with you as you do this, day after day after day, right up to the end of the age."(Mat 28.20). (if my quotes sound a little odd, I have been doing a lot of my reading out of The Message/Remix, I really like this translation). I found this to be very personally empowering. I tend to have a real fear of failure, and just knowing that God really is there, smoothing the path, and greasing the wheels so to speak is very heartening.

well enough of that for now....it was been a pretty good weekend .....thank God

later
